LiHUB Energy Reveals HV20 Active Liquid Cooled Residential Energy Storage System

HV20 is a cutting-edge high-voltage 20kWh liquid-cooled residential energy storage system developed by LIHUB Energy. HV20 integrates Active Liquid Cooling Technology (the “ALCT”) designed by LIHUB Energy. Thanks to the use of ALCT, HV20 can ensure that every cell operates within an ideal temperature range, which will significantly extend the life cycle of HV20 and greatly improve the safety of HV20.


Thanks to ALCT, HV20 can be freely installed outdoors. Whether in hot summer or cold winter, ALCT can cool or heat every cells with high efficiency to make sure all cells could work within the ideal temperature range. 


HV20 takes an integrated design concept. Each battery module MagicPack 2.0 is equipped with an independent Battery Monitoring Unit (the “BMU”). At the same time, the advanced Battery Control Unit (the “BCU”) can manage and control all battery modules to make sure all of them can work efficiently. HV20 can be quickly connected into your residential energy storage system. Due to the Plug and Play design concept, installers usually only need one hour to complete the installation of HV20.

The purpose of designing HV20 is to provide LIHUB Energy's potential customers with an efficient, safe and long-life residential energy storage system. We deeply understand the expectations of homeowners to their residential energy storage systems, so we must make sure that HV20 can create long-term value for our customers. Compared with indoor installation, outdoor energy storage systems are much safer. The use of ALCT on HV20 effectively solves charging, discharging in extreme temperature to prevent battery degradation in outdoor installation. In hot summer, ALCT will operate the cooling device to cool all cells to prevent HV20 from overheating. In cold winter, ALCT will operate the heating device to heat all cells to prevent the HV20 from freezing. 


ALCT can provide a continuous cooling power of 500W or a continuous heating power of 1000W. This is enough to ensure that HV20 can control every cell temperature to its ideal operating temperature range in a short time. Temperature is a crucial factor in ensuring the service life and safety of lithium batteries.
